Time starts when the crew arrives on site and ends when the project is finished. Time is paid in 30-minute increments after the first hour, rounded up to the nearest hour. There is a 3-hour minimum for relocation. TRAVEL TIME IS APPLICABLE WHEN DISTANCE IS BEYOND 75 KM RADIUS. Gratuities are not included but are much appreciated (these can be paid in cash or added to the final bill). Payment must be made in full on-site upon completion of the job. After payment has been processed, an email receipt will be sent to you. We take cash, check, Visa, and MasterCard. For tasks lasting more than three hours, the team is entitled to a ten-minute paid break. For projects that last more than five hours, the crew will have a thirty-minute unpaid break. We try our best to estimate the time needed for each task properly; nevertheless, estimations supplied by our coordinators are not guaranteed and are subject to change.
(A) Aside from the valuation declared, the Moving company’s liability shall not exceed 60 cents per article for any of the following:
(B) The Mover has the right and shall be immediately notified of, and given an opportunity to inspect all claims for damage, including any concealed and/or external damage to the items and original packing materials.
(C) The Mover’s liability with regard to sets or matched pieces shall be limited to repair or replacement, whichever is less, of the lost or damaged pieces only, and shall not extend to repair, replacement, or recovering the entire set.
(D) The Mover shall not be liable or responsible for loss or damage caused after the property has been delivered to or receipted for by the consignee or Shipper.
(E) Where the Mover is directed to load property from a place at which the Shipper is not present, the property shall be loaded at the risk of the Shipper before loading.
(F) The Mover will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by ordinary wear and tear, mold, mildew, termites, insects, heat, cold, or atmospheric conditions.
(G) The shipment liability is limited to 60 cents per pound per article unless declared otherwise in writing by the Shipper.
(H) The Mover is not responsible for fragile articles unless packed and unpacked by its employees.
(A) Delivery of goods can only be initiated upon receipt of written orders or warehouse receipt with delivery instructions signed by the Shipper.
(B) Any change of address of the Shipper must be provided in writing and acknowledged by the Mover.
(C) No transfer of ownership will be recognized unless entered on the Mover’s records and charges are paid.
(D) Storage charges will be prorated to the end of the month, and subsequent charges are due on the first of the month.
(E) A labor charge will apply for accessing, un-piling, unpacking, or piling goods in storage.
(F) 48 business hours’ notice is required for access to or delivery of goods.
Any party tendering explosives or dangerous goods without full written disclosure will be liable for all damages, and the Mover may store or destroy such goods without compensation.
If an addition or calculation error is made on an invoice, contract, or other written form, the customer is liable for actual charges and time, regardless of what the form states.
The Shipper warrants that they have lawful possession of the property and agrees to indemnify the Mover for all costs incurred regarding claims or litigation concerning the property.
Movers are not insured for attempting to move furniture into difficult areas. The customer accepts responsibility for any damages to property or furniture under such circumstances.
(A) The Mover shall have a lien against all property for unpaid charges.
(B) All goods are subject to auction to satisfy unpaid charges.
(C) Proceeds from the sale will first satisfy the lien, with any excess remitted to the Shipper.
All claims for loss, destruction, or damage must be made in writing and filed on the same day as the move.
The Mover will make reasonable efforts to complete delivery but is not responsible for delays due to special circumstances such as physical conditions or lack of elevator service.
Inventory sheets are prepared only on shipments destined for storage or when requested by the Shipper. Additional fees will apply.
This agreement represents the entire contract and cannot be modified except in writing. If any part of the contract is unenforceable, the remainder shall still apply.
